The woodpecker pounds on the plastic shudder with its beak. Repeatedly. Throughout the day. If it's the same woodpecker, I would think it would learn there is no food behind this thing that only sort of looks like wood. It seems to know that there is no food in the bricks, so it is capable of learning.
