Blogging from the Road

It’s the middle of the night and I am wide awake. I slept a few hours, but haven’t been able to get back to sleep. Maybe I can perform brain surgery later today because I am staying at a Holiday Inn Express.

I am in Nashville to attend an all-day client meeting, and did not bring my laptop. I am posting this from my Blackberry web browser, something I haven’t done in while. I should look at mobile blogging setup again. I think that is probably for shorter posts, and I use Twitter for that anyway. And Twitter actually is a good use of the Blackberry browser. Surfing the web is actually harder. I didn’t think I would miss my laptop, but I do. I spend a lot more time on the web in the evenings than I realize.

As I was traveling last night, I spent a lot of time typing emails that pushed the limits of my thumb typing. My flight was delayed an hour and this gave me something to do. One particular email exchange was about over-abundance of smileys in email subject lines. And this post is pushing the bounds of posting from the road.
