Worn Down By Daily Use

There are things I use every day that gradually get worn down, but I never notice until I replace it. The difference is actually shocking and since the change takes place over time it is not apparent. Every time I throw away an old razor and use a new disposable razor – which are not the highest quality blades – I can’t believe I used the dull one for so long.

I use an electric toothbrush that runs on batteries. Between the worn bristles and the sluggish batteries of the old one, it makes the function of the new one few like totally different devices. Each time I have these revelations I think that I won’t wait so long before switching, but it never seems to happen. Especially when a replacement involves a trip to the store.
