It is possible to fill a water bottle without looking at it by listening to the change in sound of the echo of the water. I do this with water from the refrigerator, not the faucet. The water comes out slower from the fridge. As the water level gets higher and there is less empty space, the echo dissipates. Practice with paper towels nearby
