Trees Grow and Move

Trees seem like the most stable, inanimate objects but I have read references to studies that show whole forests move tree by tree. There have also be studies showing that trees communicate through their roots and have built symbiotic societies that support each other by providing access to resources for small trees.

While many trees seem to grow straight, when you follow the lines skyward you will see that there are slight bends and curves that are likely related to light and the position of other trees.
