The lunar eclipse looked very cool as the shadow moved across the face of the moon, turning it dark with shadow, then orange. It was just above the tops of the trees. But when I looked at the total eclipse through binoculars, the unlighted satellite looked like a styrofoam ball hanging in the sky.
