A band I like, The Mountain Goats, is having a TikTok moment. One of their most angst-y songs has acquired a set of TikTok hand movements. The is driving streams on Spotify, which in another universe would generate income for the band. Here it's just pennies. It is very strange that me and TikTok denizens have this band in common.
