The building that we are staying in in Connecticut has a roof deck on the 23rd floor. On a clear day we can see very far. We saw the NYC skyline emerge from the haze. But we also see the rain storms start moving in from a long way off.
The sky gets dark. The wind picks up. And the ribbons of rains connect the sky to the ground. We watched it move in until it was nearly on top of us. We went inside after the first few big drops of rain fell.
