Squirrel Box

In the ongoing battle to keep the squirrels from eating the birdseed, we have hardened our defenses against the squirrels. On this particular day that Deborah was not here I had brought the empty feeders inside. The only available birdseed was in a small lucite box suction-cupped to the window.

The squirrel got tired of sitting on the window sill, reaching up into the box to grab some food. So it climbed up into the box, completely filling it. But it had no problem scooping up handfuls of seed and eating it.
