There has been an explosion of candles recently to go way beyond the vanilla and cinnamon varieties from Yankee Candles. Whether is it driven by Instagram culture or I'm just seeing more ads for them, I don't know. And of course clicking on the most ridiculous ones means I am suddenly a target for every candle company advertising.
There are candles that smell of cities. There are candles that are inspired by books. There are candles that go with cocktails. There are even candles that represent (or induce?) certain emotions.
But I think we can all agree that Little Debbie snack cake scented candles is too far. Hey honey, let's relax tonight to the wafting scents of swiss cake rolls. I'm more in a zebra cake mood.
