Seasonal Verbs

Among the four seasons, two are also naturally verbs: spring and fall. These are actions you can take unrelated to the changing of the clocks. But the other two seasons are only verbs that mean spending that season somewhere. And they are the only ones that have this property. You can summer in the Hamptons or winter in the Caribbean, but you can fall in Vermont or spring in St. Louis.
