I had a dream that I was working in a sales job. I don't recall what I was selling, but I remember the job being hard. I've worked in marketing my whole life. I've never worked in sales. Too much activity. Too much rejection. It has never been worth the reward to me. Nor did it suit my personality.
I work with sales people constant in my advisory role. I help them sell our offerings. I work with clients to help them work better with sales. I just don't sell.
I gained a bit more respect for sales people from my dream. Like I said, it was hard. And I didn't enjoy it.
