The plane passed overhead. It had left the airport three minutes ago. It would reach San Francisco in five hours. It was a trip filled with promise. Boredom. And limited snacks.
Another plane appeared. It had only been about four minutes since it left the airport. It was headed to London. These international passengers had more than seven hours hurtling through the air in an aluminum tube ahead. That's a lot of downloaded movies. E-books. But this trip came with dinner and breakfast.
