As we count down to the Oscar’s, here’s an article from the NY Times about the Production Designer for There Will be Blood, the only Best Picture movie I haven’t seen. He has a long history working Hollywood auteurs and has some interesting methods. He builds period buildings in the manner that it would’ve been done in the period (method building).
