I know that there is a big difference between cub scouts and girl scouts from when my kids were younger. I also know that the Boy Scouts of America organization has agreed to accept girls into their packs and troops. And as someone who is accepting of variations in gender identity, it is still a little surprising for this former cub scout leader to see a girl in a cub scout uniform.
