Elevator Etiquette

If you are riding an elevator with people you don’t know you should always face the door. If you face the crowd they will get uncomfortable. But if you are riding with people you know, you can jockey for position. The best positions in a crowded elevator are the back corners–unless you have to get off before others. It is not appropriate to call “shotgun” when getting on a elevator to secure a prime spot.
