I often wonder what our dog thinks about the world and what he could possibly understand. When you experience the world primarily through smells, everything is very different. We took him to a music event downtown and three firetrucks came roaring by. Lights flashing. Sirens blaring. What could he possibly have thought those were? He often reacts to loud sounds, but this was really loud. What did they even smell like?
