Some say it is the Golden Age of TV, or at least it is Peak TV. There are so many shows worth watching across Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and HBO, which are all channels that I have. Instead of all the great dramas that I have wanted to watch for a while—some of which are the reason that I got HBO—I find myself watching a sitcom from 1972. This was the heart of my childhood Saturday night viewing. I’m rewatching The Bob Newhart Show, in order, episode by episode. That was not possible before streaming TV unless you bought the DVDs.
