Autonomous Vehicle

The muscle car drove slowly down the street towards me. It looked like it had driven in from another era. It's hulking form matched the rumbling of its engine.  The smoked windshield hid the driver from view. If there even was a driver.

It pulled up to within an inch of my midsection and stopped. Idling.  The engine revved. Growing louder. A cold wind came up from behind me, billowing my shirt and causing it to touch the grill of the car.

Instantly, the car backed up, shuddered into drive and squealed out around me. Disappearing down the street.
