There is an ant crawling across the gravel road just in front of my foot. I widen my field of vision and see more ants. These are not the tiny ones, but ones big enough to clearly see the three body sections from standing height. I let my vision go out of focus for a moment and just look for movement. I realize the ants are covering the gravel road.
