Alright, Clancy

There's low-price grocery chain with oddly named house-brand or generic products. Their snack food brand is called Clancy's. Do I have any affinity to Clancy's Nashville chicken flavored kettle chips? Not really. How about Clancy's Restaurant style tortilla chips. Nope.

All Clancy's makes me think of is the Bugs Bunny cartoon where he pretends to be police officer who says, Alright, Clancy, take the boys and surround the house. This is a ruse to do a number on the diminutive gangster Rocky and his overstuffed sidekick. This includes the classic brogue-inflected line, you might, rabbit, you might. After Bugs has put Rocky through his paces, the real police show up and say just what Bugs Bunny said.

If you haven't seen it, you can watch it for yourself.
