Questions Not Asked

People ask lots of questions, and with the ubiquity of cell phones and people having conversations in public, we often hear either these questions or the answers. But rarely both. Most people don’t want to appear foolish or stupid so they only ask the most burning questions, and it is those – or their answers – that makes me thing what questions they not asking.

It is tax time and people have lots of questions. And when I heard the following answer, I really wondered what other questions this person had that she was not asking. “Yes, ma’am, a chainsaw is personal property.”
